From 1990 on this seal was fitted instead of 14A9010MS or JRC7008, being thinner than the previous seal it was made self adhesive and stuck to the underneath of the bonnet on the rear lip. Many cars have it fitted in the scuttle panel in front of the windscreen at the rear of the bonnet.The best seal for the bonnet to windscreen scuttle panel is the 14A9010MS or use the JRC8000 seal used on MPI cars from 1996 on.
